Welcome
During my own art instruction, I had the pleasure of focusing on a drawing activity for an uninterrupted period of time. Often, it would be two to three hours before the end of the class. However, time always seemed to fly by and I was often surprised when the lesson ended because it seemed as if it had just started. I believe that people are inherently creative and the visual arts is a way for students to express themselves, work together, and problem solve.
Art enrichment and art club is a place for students to explore their creativity through a variety of projects. Students use various media such as crayon, watercolor, chalk, marker, paper, and foil. Projects are designed so that students will have some structure, but will still be able to use their imagination and creativity to create original pieces of art. Students must complete and return a permission slip before attending art club.
Please visit our art gallery to see some of the beautiful and creative pieces that our students have created. You may also see additional work at www.artsonia.com.
